Pre-School Easter Celebrations
This month at The Little School House, we’ve been keeping very busy! Our Pre-School room enjoyed a wonderful Easter workshop – we welcomed our grown-ups in to take part in some lovely festive activities. We got creative making our very own Easter bonnets and baskets, as well as baking some scrumptious Easter nest cakes – this was a super tasty treat! To round off our Easter workshop, we took part in an egg and spoon race! We had so much fun celebrating, and discussing Easter in Pre-School, and even more fun sharing this with our grown-ups!
Babies get creative!
Our Babies made the most of some nice weather this month. We took a walk to the charity shop where the babies picked some new toys for the room. They also got festive, enjoying making Easter crafts. The babies helped make an Easter basket for our display board, and some beautiful handprint chick cards for their grown-ups!
Getting active in the Toddler Room!
In the Toddler Room, we have been getting super lively! We hosted Cryo Sports, who got us up and active, participating in fun sports games that helped us burn lots of energy, whilst working on our physical development. We really enjoyed this and can’t wait for our next visit from them! We took the teamwork we used during Cryo Sports into our outdoor play, and worked together to build a rocket! The Toddler Room also enjoyed different sensory Maths activities, such as a filling and emptying activity, where we used different methods to transport the water.
We’ve had lots of fun this month here at The Little School House, exploring and getting creative – we can’t wait to see what May brings us! We’ve got lots of lovely things planned, including more extra curricular activities like Superstar Sport & Cryo Sports, Rhythm Time, visits around our local neighbourhood, and lots more!
