October has been a busy and exciting month in nursery, filled with fun activities, special celebrations and wonderful opportunities for our children, families and staff to come together!
Church Trip ⛪
Our Pre-School children enjoyed a trip to Handsworth Methodist Church to take part in Harvest Festival activities!
Autumn Fun In Pre-School 🍂
Our Pre-School children have enjoyed exploring the wonderful season of Autumn throughout October. They have been talking about the changes in the weather, and noticing how the environment changes as we move into a new season.
Toddler Room Parent/Carer Workshop 🌟
The children enjoyed lots of fun, interactive activities, exploring different ways to support our little ones’ speech and language development, as well as sharing advice and ideas around “ditching the dummy”. It was wonderful to see our parents getting involved, learning together, and enjoying some special moments with their little ones. The children’s favourite activity of the day was definitely making their very own Stick Man! The children had lots of fun getting creative and bringing their Stick Man to life. A huge thank you to all the parents who joined us.
Rhythm Time! 🎶🥁
Our Baby Room children have been having lots of fun during Rhythm Time! The children have enjoyed exploring different musical instruments, tapping, shaking and banging along to the beat. They have been developing their listening skills, coordination and confidence, while expressing themselves through music and movement.
Wear It Pink 🎀💗
Our children got busy, having lots of fun baking some delicious treats ready for our Wear It Pink bake sale! The children loved getting involved, mixing ingredients, exploring different textures and, of course, helping to create some yummy goodies! We raised £80.00, for this fantastic cause – thank you for your support.
Spook-tacular Halloween Fun! 🎃👻
We’ve had a fang-tastic time celebrating Halloween in nursery! The children have enjoyed lots of spooky-themed activities, getting creative with Halloween crafts, exploring sensory play, and dressing up in their fantastic costumes for our Halloween party!
Staff Shout-Outs 🎉
We have lots to celebrate this month! A huge congratulations to Hannah & Ruby on successfully completing and passing their Level 3 qualifications! We are so proud of you both and all the hard work and dedication you have put into achieving this milestone. Well done!
We would also like to give a special shout-out to Emily, who has been named our Employee of the Month! Emily has been recognised for settling into the team so wonderfully, and for always going above and beyond to do the very best for our children. Her dedication, positive attitude, and hard work have not gone unnoticed.
A massive well done to all three of you! We hope you enjoyed your well-deserved treats.
